You might say that being in business is serious, that's true! However, if you no longer have fun, it will lead to negative things! So, I'm launching the March challenge for you.   PLAY

Working in a pleasant way

My company, CF Salubrité Inc., is a serious business, doing quality control, written reports, training, etc. I love my business and I care about it a lot. I enjoy meeting my customers and their employees just as much as I do in my everyday work. One of the first values I wanted when creating this company was to work in a pleasant way! Yes, I know, it's probably not a word that exists. But that too is part of my personality.nality: the desire to 'step outside the box'. For me, working in a pleasant way means not being rigid and thus being able to laugh with my clients or work colleagues.

Working in a pleasant way also means giving yourself the right to be completely who you are at all times. Without the obligation to respond this way or that, depending on what the rigid code of business or our colleagues dictates. It means showing my joy and pride in front of an employee who has done their job well or who has improved. I allow myself to show them all my pride.

From the impassable mountain to pleasure

If you knew how much of an insurmountable mountain it seemed to me to do the website, the blogs, the social media animation in July 2017. I felt like I was completely useless and that there was no hope with me!! I WAS FREAKING OUT!!!  So, I didn't take it seriously and I did it out of obligation from time to time. It wasn't fun at all!! After a few months, many experiences and training, I can tell you that I love it now. I am totally thriving in this task and it is no longer a chore at all. Do you see the difference between the two situations? Same task to do. But one, I had no confidence in myself and the other, I learned to trust myself and let myself go! RESULT: I write more often and I even added this type of business services! I even redid my website and I have TRIPPED!

Working in a pleasant team

I realize that one thing I miss from my old life is working in a team with all the atmosphere that it brings. So… how I decided to meet my growing need: Go to dinner or have a coffee with a client or work colleagues! And yes, stopStop working to have a coffee, a meal with colleagues, take a walk together at lunchtime! Your team has just achieved something great, secured a new contract, a great opportunity to celebrate over a glass of wine, dinner or coffee!

Working in a pleasant team is also an environment that fosters employee engagement, empathy, and employees who are certainly not treated like numbers. The most human and accessible politicians are those who are most noticed and loved. Barack Obama and Jack Layton left their mark on politics. Jack Layton left a total void in his party after his death. He created a real tidal wave in those elections! We could connect with their way of seeing things because they were human in their words and their actions.

Treat yourself, without pressure

Lately, I started running again, just short distances, for fun, without looking at the time. WOW, I love it! I have no idea if I'll want to sign up for an official race again. Since January, I've been trying to implement the March PLAY challenge and I've never been happier in my life! Whether you're an HR manager or a boss, you have the power to change things. You can create that atmosphere and by doing so, you'll create the bond of attachment!
