January HEALTH Challenge 2018

Ah, how easy it is to do what everyone thinks we should do. How easy it is to continue in the routine, even if it's unpleasant! In reality, we can continue to be the living dead for a few years, until our body no longer agrees. Or until an unexpected event comes along to disrupt the order of our life! So, the January challenge is HEALTH.

It's time to change jobs!

  • The work environment has become toxic
  • You are not evolving, you no longer have a challenge.
  • Your workload has become immeasurable over the years.
  • You are a victim of abuse from your boss or work colleagues
  • You no longer agree with the decisions made.
  • Your body is telling you about increasingly strong physical and mental discomforts
    • Physical and mental fatigue
    • Sign of dizziness
    • Feeling like crying or, conversely, signs of uncontrollable anger
    • You would like to sleep, sleep, sleep...
    • Your life is nothing but work. You no longer have a social life, a family life, or a family.
    • Stomach ulcer
    • Lack of appetite
    • Etc

On this last point, you can visit the following site which tells you the signs of depression.

There is no valid reason to stay in a job where you are no longer happy!

But what else could you do?

First, take the time to settle down and turn the page. This can take anything from a day to several weeks of rest.

There are LOTS of jobs and places you can work! Do you realize the wealth of business, production, management, and talent experience you have?

All the training, the skills cards that you have accumulated since your youth?

The maturity that life and work have made you acquire over all these years?

Life takes us where we need to go!

I can assure you that no matter the reason you lost your job, you can recover positively. I am proof of this myself. After 32 years in the same company, once family-owned, I lost my job, without any notice, with a salary cut overnight and a loss of $150,000.00! I thought it was the end of my world for a few months. Today, I will tell you that it is the best thing that happened to me even if it was very trying physically and mentally. You can read my article on this subject.

So, now?

Now, take care of yourself. If necessary, consult your doctor. I assure you, there's nothing to be ashamed of. Depression is an illness, and you need to treat it as if you were diabetic!

Then, start writing down everything that comes to mind: your values, your skills, your abilities, your passions, what you no longer want to experience, what you would like to experience!

As you progress in your reflection, it will form a funnel and you will eventually find your business idea. Having the job of your dreams, the one where time doesn't count, where you will have fun, it is POSSIBLE! I did it! What an extraordinary moment you are living right now:

You are experiencing the beginning of your future career as an entrepreneur!
