Housekeeping of municipal buildings
The maintenance of municipal buildings presents significant challenges.
Employees often have no basic experience in housekeeping and, due to the fact that they would have preferred to be in the roadworks rather than cleaning municipal buildings, they sometimes lack motivation!
And when housekeeping is handled by an external service provider, the low-bid competition can be overwhelming. We have more than one trick up our sleeve to achieve a better result.
Household cleaning product suppliers are generally chosen based on the lowest price. Unfortunately, some suppliers offer the lowest possible price for each product in order to win the tender. This usually has a negative impact on the quality and effectiveness of the product.
The needs to be met
- The first step is to evaluate the products, accessories, and maintenance equipment available to employees. Despite the supplier's framework agreement, we are able to improve this aspect by proposing additional changes.
- At the beginning of the mandate, we will assess the condition of the buildings, the work time, and the applicable frequencies. An assessment report will be provided to you with the results and suggestions for improvement.
- Then, detailed, imaged work routes with appropriate task frequencies are created for each building and employee.
After receiving good training on the methods and organization of work that we advocate, employees will be introduced to the work routes.
We will conduct quality checks to ensure employees understand the hygiene and sanitation program once it is fully implemented.
Public call for tenders update
We offer to update the call for tenders so that it fully meets your needs.
We conduct a written quality control assessment, graded as a percentage, when the quality of the work is unsatisfactory. For the municipality's follow-up with the subcontractor, this report is supplemented with clear photos.
