Sales Managers, Who am I?
Stop complaining and roll up your sleeves.

Rrrrrrr!!! I received a complaint today blaming me for all the misfortunes of an ex-partner. This person has lost ground, as they say, since we've been partners no longer. I don't want to go into details; it would be pointless, and I'd waste my energy and yours. But I'll say this to those who have lost ground, lost contracts, received a bad grade, or suffered a failure:

Stop complaining and roll up your sleeves!

 Take responsibility

Things aren't going well? Okay! It can happen to any business! Okay, it's boring... So what?! Stop complaining and roll up your sleeves.

Double down, go see your customers, take care of them! Make sure you don't lose any more business. Pamper your customers, make sure you fully meet their needs.

Look at your navel and know how to correct your mistakes. Accept your errors. Listen to your customers. Are they unhappy? It's not that they're whiny. NO! They're giving you the opportunity to improve and be better. Know how to listen to them and benefit from their feedback.

Know how to take advantage of your business partners

Well, yes, instead of being negative, accusing, or entering into conflict with others, learn to take advantage of your partners and listen to them. Each has their own strengths. If you don't give them the opportunity, they will never be able to demonstrate their strengths. And don't forget the old adage: Alone, we go faster, but together, we go further. Stop thinking you have a monopoly on the truth. Listen to your team, your partners, your employees. You'd be surprised at the strength of a team.

Stop complaining and roll up your sleeves.

Roll up your sleeves!

Do what you have to do! Get up to speed! Review your sales documents, rectify the situation by correcting the errors pointed out by your customers, employees, partners, etc. Get out of your comfortable seat, stand out from the crowd, and differentiate yourself. After correcting your non-conformities, get to work and seek out new customers. You think you can't turn things around? Nonsense! Inform yourself, read up on the topics where you're lacking, take courses on your weaknesses, and ask for advice.

Failure, bankruptcy, giving up is not an option!! Everything is correctable. Everything can be righted!

In closing, I'll give you a little analogy with running. It can happen in a runner's life to get injured. Stopping running may then be recommended. Getting back into running will be very difficult if the break was long. You'll have to start again slowly, be patient, and respect your body.

…And you, what will you do today to roll up your sleeves?!
