Everything you need for the window washing season opening
The excitement of window cleaners is already being felt at the end of this spring-like month of February! Because as soon as it's 5 degrees, they're already hard at work! Protective accessories
At 5 degrees, playing in the water outside isn't cold unless you spend a few hours at a time cleaning windows, so it's best to be well-equipped in that case. THE Scrub-Off and Ettore seems to me to be a must for Hard water stain remover, available in a convenient liquid paste. It is ideal for water, rust, and mineral stains. Scrub-Off comes in a squeeze bottle for easy dispensing. Available in a 16 oz bottle.. So a good “quick fix” to keep in our laundry kit.
It is ready to use and is applied directly to the window cleaner or cloth. You rub the surface and then rinse and wipe dry.
Noticed : Some surfaces are sensitive to scratches. Always test the product in a corner before use.
General purpose product
Next, I suggest you take a general purpose window soap. Either the Easy Glide or even the the Pill lozenge, both from Unger. Just add water. Each tablet cleans 7.5 liters of windows when mixed with water. And you'll see that each tablet is individually wrapped in a foil pouch to keep moisture out.

Window cleaning accessories
The choice is immense, but we've selected the most important and useful ones for you. Let's first look at the major brands in this sector. A little tip: no matter what equipment you choose, make sure you buy accessories that fit together. Not all mouthpieces are created equal.

UNGER
One of the most comprehensive brands in the window cleaning industry is Unger. I particularly like their dampener Ergotec Ninja brand window scraper. The finish of the scraper in particular
is unique. The blade is fixed at each end of the scraper so that it does not come out of its base. The handle is very comfortable. And what's more, this scraper and moistener bends to our will. This facilitates the versatility of the work. Also, regarding the raclette, it is possible to have only one handle which you can replace the squeegee size as needed. For a complete set, it's quite expensive. But you'll likely end up keeping it for the rest of your cleaning career! The only thing you'll have to change occasionally is the blade, which is the same as all of its competitors.
The dampening pads are particularly high quality. Many have a rougher surface area to scrub dirtier surfaces.
You also have the Monsoon which is appreciated.
Of course, there is the regular wetting coating that you might like for regular washing of the front door for example.

ETTORE
This brand is probably the biggest competitor for this type of accessory. Ettore has tools made of brass or aluminum. These are very solid and durable accessories. Two items I like about this brand are its belt, which is more versatile in my opinion and affordable.
I also recommend Scrub-OFF Cream. This product removes tough hard water stains, calcium deposits, limescale, and soap scum. You'll appreciate it for use on windows, patio doors, tiles, porcelain sinks, shower doors, bathtubs, windshields, and more.
This product is ready to use with a microfiber cloth.
Ettore is accessible to all budgets since they have different alternatives.
SORBO
