Compostable waste bags, made in Canada
Polykar is the company that now provides access to compostable and biodegradable bags across North America.
Ecovio®, the compostable copolyester manufactured by BASF, and renewable materials are used in the manufacture of these bags. They are easy to handle, lightweight, waterproof, and more practical than paper bags.
Color and sizes
Our certified compostable bags are tinted green and available on a compact, perforated roll. They range in size and thickness from 0.7 to 1 mil.
Certification
The bags are certified by the Biodegradable Plastics Institute (BPI) and the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ), and meet the standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM D6400).
Polykar's certified compostable bags are also ECOLOGO® certified by UL 126 Environment.
