I regularly notice that work and spaces are regularly forgotten in cleaning tasks. And yet, these spaces are visible, but we don't see them! As if our eyes were accustomed to seeing this dirt! I hope this article will help raise our awareness, to see these spaces again.<\/p>\n

Office environments<\/h2>\n

Chairs, screens, sides and fronts<\/h3>\n

As in the header photo of this blog, the employee fabric chairs<\/span> <\/strong>and the screens<\/span> <\/strong>are rarely cleaned. Then, the furniture sides<\/strong> <\/span>and the drawer fronts<\/strong><\/span> are not cleaned as often as the desk top.<\/p>\n

Entrance rugs and mats<\/h3>\n

In this office space above, carpets are also a problem. If<\/strong><\/span> Carpets are washed, and they will be washed annually in household maintenance quotes. This is clearly insufficient. Carpets already generate fine particles that detach and occupy the air that occupants breathe. In addition to what our shoes and boots carry from outside, such as sand, small rocks, and calcium.<\/p>\n

So, what are the solutions for a clean office environment?<\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. On a daily basis, thevacuuming of common areas<\/strong><\/span> is really important. Since these spaces represent the places where there is the most accumulation of dust and rocks carried by shoes.<\/li>\n
  2. L'full suction<\/span> of the carpet surface should be carried out at least on a weekly basis.<\/li>\n
  3. THE vinyl or leatherette armchairs and chairs<\/strong><\/span> They are easily cleaned with a simple microfiber cloth during daily office cleaning. Choose an eco-friendly or even biotechnological all-purpose product. There is no reason to use a product that is too alkaline.<\/li>\n
  4. THE textile armchairs and chairs<\/strong><\/span> will also need to be cleaned, particularly at high-touch contact points. During the pandemic, building managers generally removed this type of furniture, as it is difficult to clean on a daily basis. But be aware that this job is very quick and relatively easy to do with a little initial training. For example, a fabric chair with a textile back and seat will take you between 2 and 5 minutes to clean.<\/li>\n
  5. Between washes<\/span><\/strong>, you could take a slightly damp microfiber cloth and clean the edge of the seat and high touch area.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please note that training on washing armchairs, chairs, screens, carpets and rugs is part of the training in major cleaning and post-construction cleaning.<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

    Entrances and waiting rooms<\/h3>\n

    One of the best ways to minimize dirt from getting inside is to use doormats, which are missing from this main entrance. This makes it very difficult to keep this entrance clean. It's best to make the rug wider, as you can see in the photo below. The rug should cover the entire width of the doors. It's also important to make it long enough to cover the entire width of the doors. at least<\/strong><\/em><\/span> the steps of 3 to 6 feet x each foot.     Additionally, entry windows should be cleaned daily and thoroughly cleaned weekly. Be careful, as the trim is often overlooked. And remember, the tops of entry doors and sidelights are part of the beauty of a main entrance. Don't let these details ruin your work.<\/p>\n

    Entrance mats should never be dripping wet, as this could cause a building user to slip. And most importantly, use an effective calcium-removing cleaner to clean floors and entrance mats regularly. If you leave the calcium<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>accumulate, it will become increasingly difficult to remove!<\/p>\n

    The kitchenette and cafeteria<\/h3>\n

    Employee areas should be cleaned to a adequate frequency<\/span><\/strong>.<\/a> And there are many points to cover. But that's where my contribution ends! I'll turn it over to you now!!<\/p>\n

    What should you clean after every meal?<\/p>\n

    What would you do with the inside of the cabinets and drawers? Consider the fact that this kitchen is used by many employees...<\/p>\n

    What type of maintenance will you do on household appliances including the coffee maker, stove, microwave, dishwasher?<\/p>\n

    What measures will you take to ensure that dishes are washed and stored in cupboards? What will you do to ensure that cups are not left unwashed on employees' desks?<\/p>\n
