We know people are worried, and we want to help. Furthermore, some mines and logging camps in Northern Canada and Quebec cannot close and must adapt. Food plants represent an essential service and must remain open, while respecting certain principles. And starting this Monday, some facilities will resume operations.<\/p>\n<h2>What to do if your facility must remain open during the pandemic<\/h2>\n<p>It&#039;s essential to ensure that your facility&#039;s workers understand their role first. They must realize that their usual behaviors must change. There&#039;s a simple, mandatory step to start with: handwashing. But to be effective, it must be done properly. Here&#039;s a video that summarizes all the steps. A few days ago, an employee told me, &quot;But I have no choice but to open the door!&quot; He was frustrated by the situation and saw no other way out. But in reality, when they are next to a friend, they are side by side thinking that it is safe because it is a friend. Whether it is a friend or not, it is 2 meters apart. So to make employees aware, we will have to make them aware of themselves.<\/p>\n<p>For example, you could put a <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>dotted line path every 2 meters<\/strong><\/span>. However, we chose to take several small actions at once. To raise awareness, we must ensure that the message doesn&#039;t get lost in the crowd. To this end, we suggest reducing the number of displays to emphasize the positive actions that we want to change quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, a good infection control method could be to take the temperature of each employee. Each case must be studied, and a review of your facilities and the movement of your employees must be conducted to ensure effective prevention measures are in place.
