I had the pleasure of meeting with Richer Robitaille, Director of the province of Quebec and the eastern tip of Ontario for Vileda Professionnel. Richer is as passionate about his profession as he is about the company he represents. We only spent two hours together, but I felt like I had a full university course. Richer is interesting, close to the needs of his customers, and he knows how to simplify concepts for them.
Why Vileda Professional
Did you know that before marketing its products, Vileda tests several prototypes with customers in the field before arriving at the finished product? For example, the new Origo 2 trolleys have undergone a very rigorous quality process. Every part of these trolleys is modifiable. That is to say, there are a million possibilities since you choose the configuration according to your own needs.
For example, you could add several small buckets on top to clean different areas without causing cross-contamination. Or, you could decide to change the layout or use bins instead of trays.
Okay, you're going to tell me that others have already invented modifiable trolleys. True, that's true. However, Vileda always goes further to better meet customer needs. For example, with small laundry buckets with a predefined color, Vileda understands that needs can change over time. So instead of replacing the bucket, you'll only have to change a color clip to indicate the color you want.

During the pre-market testing process, Vileda Professional has its products tested by numerous users. It listens to every comment to arrive at the best final product.
What I particularly like about Vileda Professional
- Their equipment, boilers and accessories are easily washableThere are no unnecessary edges or decorations. So, since everything is easily washable and rinseable, there is no reason for the equipment to accumulate dirt in the corners of the accessories.
- Everything is editable at all times.
- The color system, used to avoid cross-contamination, is an integral part of their systems.
- The wheels are easy to wash and functional again. I've never had to replace a single wheel on their carts in the past. Nor have I ever never had to buy a wringer, For example. Their equipment is solidly made.
- However, if by chance, you would have to replace a part, no problem. The parts don't cost the price of the cart. It's very reasonable.
- Ergonomic: Employee comfort is one of the important points for Vileda.

In closing, I have been a "sellout" of the Vileda brand since the 2000s when I had the privilege of starting to use their technologies. 20 years later, I realize that Vileda Professional has continued to improve its systems. They have not spent a lot of other useless products. Their strength is being close to the needs of their customers and that is what I love about their simple, but surprisingly effective systems!
