It's time NOW to plan the major holiday cleaning, as it needs to be prepared in advance to avoid wasting precious time. Indeed, the number of days the team will have time to perform routine maintenance is limited to just a few days.

Complete supervision of your building

In my opinion, the first thing to do is to conduct a thorough inspection of your building. Note any deficiencies in housekeeping or areas that require more attention. I strongly encourage you to complete your assessment in writing. This assessment should be objective and provide a clear picture of what you observed. What the housekeeping quote includes

In principle, if you have a cleaning quote for your building, it will outline the main points of your major holiday cleaning, such as:

• Dusting and disinfection of all furniture.
• Washing entrance mats
• Cleaning of fabric furnishings (mattresses, sofas, reception chairs, chairs)
• Washing bathroom and kitchen walls
• Brushing ceramic floors and walls (restrooms and cafeteria) with a low-speed polisher equipped with a rotating brush
• Polishing of linoleum or tile floors (corridors at a minimum)
• Polishing terrazzo floors
• Dusting at height
• Washing of housekeeping facilities, equipment as well as cleaning carts (should be done after each shift however…)

That is, pair a trainee with a more experienced one for a method you'd like your trainee to acquire. Nothing is easier to learn than by practicing. However, choose your "teacher" wisely; it should be positive and enjoyable for both parties.
