Reuse to recycle

Environmental awareness is growing. We used to buy things just to please ourselves. Today, we're asking ourselves what we can improve and do better. In this article, I suggest you reuse instead of recycling!

Plastic bottles

Plastic bottles are piling up, creating mountains of waste and filling the seas.

 

There are several uses for disposable plastic bottles:

• Use as a pot for indoor or outdoor plants
• In spring, you can use it to cover your plants that are not yet strong and need to be protected from the cold.

But even better… use reusable bottles or cups!

 

 

Tires, do we have a choice?

 

Some people can do without a car for work and leisure. Living in the suburbs of Montreal and in regions where transportation services are very limited, a vehicle is essential. Furthermore, my company's territory is large, so I have to use a vehicle to get to my clients' buildings. BUT...

• I plan my appointments by trying to bring my appointments closer together if they are in the same region and within reasonable driving distance.
• I have eliminated some travel, such as bank deposits or and I pay all my suppliers by bank transfer.
• Sending letters has been replaced by email. And the advantage is that we automatically keep an electronic copy!

So what can we do with our old tires? Lots of projects!

• Balcony chairs, different colors, different sizes
• Beautiful pet beds,
• Several floral arrangements
• Or even games for children!Recycle paper

Personally, I love writing, just as I love reading a real book, savoring the finish of the paper and appreciating the choice of writing. But I realize that I use a lot of paper and throw it away easily. That. That got me thinking! Here's what I came up with as a recycling idea:

• If you're making baskets or toys for dogs, little kitties will love the sound of the paper that you could use for stuffing. Okay, I admit, it's not a good idea at all!! Hahaha!
• Have used paper shredded and used as stuffing when sending packages.
• Use it when moving!

In conclusion, if we have no choice, at least let's find a way to reuse the material. And over time, we will be able to find new ways of doing things and we will be able to stop using non-ecological materials. The Internet is full of ideas for reuse and what a pleasure to tinker!
