My inspiration: my sales spiral
If you ask me to sell a refrigerator to an Eskimo, I would be totally incapable of it! Yet, in the midst of a burnout, in my last month of work for my old company, I sold $47,000.00 in monthly sales! I hate selling, but I love listening to my customer's needs and trying to meet them as much as possible. And that's how I've always sold! My sales spiral represents my way of selling.
Just listen
Listening doesn't mean listening to better know what to say to my client when he's finished his tirade. It means really listen to connect with his needsIn other words, don't think about anything else, don't give advice, don't put it all off on yourself. It means, just listenIt sounds simple when you say it like that, but it does take practice.
Over the years, I've learned to listen to my customers and improve my services based on their expressed requests. Here's an example: Can a housekeeper offer anything else to her residential client? She simply has to adjust her services according to her client's requests.
My spiral of happiness
I hear some people say they are unhappy in their jobs. Or that they work too much, are not appreciated, etc. Don't wait until you are exhausted before taking action. It is important to be to happiness in one's own spiral of happiness. Is your spiral no longer working for you for X reasons? Change your edge spiral!!! I use the principle of my sales spiral for my own happiness. Nothing doesn't force you to stay in the mold you've created for yourself. You just have to modify it or even create your new spiral, to your taste! You don't have to stay where you are.. As you know, I went through this a few months ago. And I had to change my happiness spiral. I had to ask myself questions, think about what I really wanted to experience in my professional life. Today, I live my passion. Life took me where I needed to goYou know, you are only as good as the attention you give your customer. Make room to listen to your own body, it speaks to you!
