Training in the principles of washing and disinfecting public spaces is a 2 hour training, given at our Longueuil training room or if you are unable to come to our premises, it can be given simultaneously online at the same time as the group in class. Please note, this training does not replace complete training in housekeeping.

Determine the risk of contamination

Determine what needs to be cleaned multiple times a day, multiple times a week, or other frequency.

Basic principles of hygiene and sanitation of buildings

  • Understanding the pH Scale and Its Uses
  • Use of household cleaning products
  • Recognizing products approved by Health Canada
  • The organization of work

Different working methods

It is not enough to simply disinfect, winning conditions are also needed.

  • The pre-soak method with microfiber cloths
  • Disposable: Under what circumstances?
  • Steam: when, how, on which surface
  • Electrostatic Spraying: Why, When, How

Comprehension test

Each participant will have a table of a situation to determine all the important points for the type of place

Several situations in public buildings will be taken to help the participant improve his understanding. This exercise will be done from explicit photos as well as practical exercises in class.

What the public spaces washing and disinfection training includes

All students will receive a clearly illustrated training booklet that outlines the best practices. You will also receive a training certificate.
